Donald Trump has, after being rejected by Denmark in connection with buying Greenland, now set his sights on a new target. Trump has sent a Twitter message to the Prime Minister of Poland in which he now expresses a desire to buy both the South and the North Pole. In the message, the American president also writes that he believes Poland is the very best country in all of Asia.
Canceled trip
After Denmark clearly stated that Greenland was not for sale, Trump canceled his planned trip to Denmark. “I am angry and want to spend my time sulking and writing things on Twitter,” Trump is said to have told one of his staff members tearfully while sitting on the toilet. Denmark’s prime minister does not know how to respond to Trump’s statements. “It is difficult, if not impossible, to deal with a 73-year-old child,” she says in a brief comment to eAvisa about one of the oldest American president in history.
Also Interested in Gjøvik, Drammen, and Kløfta
In addition to expressing his interest in the North and South Poles, Trump has also written on Twitter that he wants to buy the Norwegian cities of Gjøvik and Drammen, as well as the somewhat abandoned town of Kløfta. The Norwegian government has accepted the offer and announced in a press release that the mentioned places will, as of next Wednesday, be considered American territory.
“Great, great, I am happy and a very big boy,” Trump writes in a text message to eAvisa’s award-winning political journalist regarding the purchase of the Norwegian cities.
